September Will Bring WSOP-Style Online Gaming from Caeasars

Over the past couple of months there has been major talks involving the launch of a WSOP-style (World Series of Poker) real money online website by the team behind Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Caesars Entertainment is one of the most reputable and powerful companies in the land casino industry. It is a world wide gaming, hotel and resort company which owns many of the biggest hotel and casinos in Las Vegas and in many other top class gambling destinations in the world. The brand new, flashy online casino might be coming to you sooner than you expected.

The word was that Caesar Entertainment would launch their online site this summer, but the summer is about to come to an end and we still didn't get to see the final product. However, last week Caesars' CEO, Gary Loveman, shared with reporters that he expects the product to launch in this quarter, which means before the end of September, so Caesars has a lot of work to do in the upcoming two months.

Right now, Ultimate Poker is holding the monopoly of the online gambling market in Nevada, but Caesars would launch a rival company that would compete for its own share of the online gambling market. A few weeks ago Caesars Entertainment finally received a green light from Nevada gaming regulators regarding the final arrangements for their online gambling license.

Caesars Entertainment is one of the largest land based casino operators in the United States, so it is expected that what they launch online will have other ramifications in other parts of the country and in many other corners of the world. Caesars already applied and became one of the 27 companies that will receive an online gambling license in New Jersey when the state starts issuing its own.

Online casino players in the United States are hoping that New Jersey and Nevada setup the first milestone for other states when it comes to regulating and legalizing online gambling. It has been a long battle, but it seems like it is finally becoming a reality and we will be seeing more American players at the online casino tables.
