Playtech has announced that the first two titles of its six slots series based on the 1960s Batman Classic TV Series will be released this year. These branded video slots have been developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment. They will go live on the desktop and mobile platforms of Playtech online casinos like Bet365 and Mansion Casino. The titles of the slot games due for release are Batman & The Joker Jewels and Batman & Catwoman Cash. They will feature classic footage and catchphrases from the popular television series.

Both these branded slot games will be networked to a four-tier progressive jackpot. It appears that any spin may randomly award one of the four jackpots. This is different from how the progressive jackpot network functions in the Playtech Marvel superhero slots. The subsequent titles will also be linked to this progressive network.

According to the press release Batman & The Joker Jewels features eye-popping artwork in a 5x3 reels structure with 25 paylines. The set-up is true to the original Batman television series, in which the Caped Crusader faces off with the maniacal mayhem of The Joker. The highlight feature of this branded slot game is expected to be The Joker Random Wilds, which adds up to nine extra wild symbols to the reels on any main game spin for a big win. The free spins feature is a lot of fun. Players can side with either Batman or The Joker, as they watch the famous arch rivals jostle in unlimited free spins with changing win multipliers that can increase your payouts by up to five times.

Batman & Catwoman Cash is an equally engaging branded video slot. He added, “The Batman Classic TV Series games, that will rapidly be followed by Superman I, Superman II, and Man of Steel and a whole host of other DC Super Hero branded games.” These premium titles are due for release in 2017 and later.
