NetEnt is an online casino games supplier best known for its innovative video slots. But it offers unique and exciting titles in other games categories as well. One of them is Oasis Poker, which is listed under Table Games at NetEnt powered online casinos. It is based on poker hand rankings, but requires greater skill than variants like Caribbean Stud Poker. In Oasis Poker you replace cards from your dealt hand for a cost. You can play Oasis Poker at online casinos like Oranje Casino and Kroon Casino.

The game starts with your ante wager. Your hand of five cards will be dealt face up. One card from the dealer’s hand will be dealt face up and four cards will be dealt face down. You can then replace any number of cards by paying the indicated cost. The cost of replacing one card is equal to the ante bet. Replacing two cards costs twice the ante bet. Replacing three cards costs three times the ante bet. Replacing four cards costs twice the ante bet. Replacing all five cards costs the ante bet but you are then compelled to place the call bet. These costs are immediate sunk costs. You click the cards that you want to change. These will turn face down and the appropriate chips will be moved to the cost box. You confirm the change by clicking the Draw button. The chips are transferred to the house and you get new cards. It is important to note that the ante bet remains unchanged in the entire process.

Your next decision is to fold or call. If you fold, then you forfeit the ante bet and lose the game. If you call, then you place a bet equal to twice the ante. The rest of the dealer’s cards are turned over. The dealer must have an ace/king or higher to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify then you are paid even money on the ante bet and the call bet pushes. If the dealer qualifies then the hands are compared according to the usual poker hand rankings. If the dealer qualifies and has the higher ranked hand then you lose both bets. If the dealer qualifies and has the lower ranked hand then the ante bet will pay even money and the call bet will pay according to the Call Pay Table. The Call Pay Table starts with even money for all hands ranked under two pairs. Two pairs award a payout of 2 to 1. A royal flush pays 100 to 1. If the player and dealer hands are of equal rank then both bets will push.
