Take The Microgaming Level Up Video Poker Challenge

Microgaming has created a unique way of increasing the volatility in online video poker. In simple terms, more successive wins lead to enhanced payouts. This concept has been incorporated in Microgaming’s Level Up Video Poker series. The popular online video poker variants like Aces & Faces, Deuces Wild, Double Poker, Jacks or Better and Joker Poker are included in the Level Up series. The rules and payout tables of each variant remain unchanged from the regular games. You start by placing bets for four hands up front. If you lose in any of the levels then you forfeit the bets without even playing the hands at higher levels. Five cards for the first level are dealt face up and the cards for the higher levels are dealt face down. An important fact to keep in mind is that each level uses an independent deck of cards.

You play the first level in the usual manner. You mark the cards that you want to hold. The remaining cards are replaced to give your final hand. If you land up with winning combination then the payouts will be made as per the payout table. Then the hand at the second level is exposed and played. If you again draw a winning combination at this level you will be paid at twice the value of the payout table. Winning in the third level results in a payout of four times and winning in the fourth level results in a payout of eight times.

If you lose at any of the levels, the game ends immediately, but you retain the amounts won till then. You have the option to stake the amount won at the end of the game in a double or quits feature. If you activate this game then you will be dealt one card face up and four cards face down. You pick one of the face down cards. If it is higher ranked than the face up card then you win, otherwise you lose.

There are two special features in Microgaming Level Up video poker games. A Free Ride Card may be randomly dealt next to any level. This will enable you to move to the next level even if you lose that hand. The Auto Complete feature comes into play when you lose and are dealt a natural royal flush at a higher level not yet played. If this happens then you are awarded a compensatory payout.
